The mission
Off the Beaten Path
Three of us, two vans and one year on America's small farms, meeting the farmers and the chefs who cook their food. First, we have to raise the money to get there.
The Van Fund starts January 1, 2027
Why we're going
Real food is medicine.
I care about the health of Americans. Small farmers keep disappearing, and real food keeps getting harder to find and harder to afford.
So we're getting in the van to tell the stories of the farmers and the tables that serve their food, and to meet the true heart and soul of America: the American farmer, and the chefs who should be feeding us.
Food should be medicine, not poison from the corporate overlords. I want to inspire people to get off corporate food, support their local communities as best they can and vote with their dollars.
We also want to show off van life: to let people see there's another way of living, and to share the excitement of meeting regular people in regular small towns and telling their stories.
— Reyshan
The Van Fund
We hit the road when we hit the goal.
Before we leave, we have to raise it. Starting January 1, 2027, we post every day what we made from YouTube, Amazon, the books, sponsors and social, and what it cost us. Real numbers, with sources, until the vans are funded.

Cooking in the van
Two vans, two galleys.
Once we're rolling, Reyshan and Nikki will both cook on camera. We'll buy from the farms we stay at, cook it that night and post the recipe, so every stop becomes a dish you can make at home.

Harvest Hosts farms, coast to coast.
We'll pin the planned stops as the fund grows. Once we leave, the map turns into the travel log.
